Matheus Boger – via Glia

Support for data and neuroscience. Independent research with a personal touch.

Glia is the legal name under which I operate to help you. And the “Diaries of a Glial Cell” are my weekly publications on Substack, where I discourse on independent research.

Neuroscientist, use all of your data. I’m here.

Investigator, I believe you have faced the following problem at some point. You have interesting data lying around at your lab, but no staff with time to look at it, but also not enough funds to hire a new PhD or postdoc (that’s a large commitment!). Leaving the data to sit is also not ideal, since it could become new discoveries and papers with higher novelty if analyzed sooner rather than later. This is where I come in.

I offer research support services for the cognitive and neurosciences. I can analyze your data and get your drafts ready under hourly, project-based contracts. No HR, no educational obligation involved. My background is in computer science and cognitive modelling, having finished the Research Master’s in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. There, I also worked as a teaching assistant multiple times and as a paid research intern for additional analyses outside of my course credits due to the high quality of my output, combined with ease of organization and communication. My adaptability to new content and methodology was further proven when I conducted product research from recruitment to reporting for a start-up in under 3 months. I am sure there is something I can do for you.

Thank you for your time, and please reach out!

Note: I am based in the Netherlands, and my main focus is scientific research. However, data is data and the world is connected. Feel free to inquire for services outside of the Netherlands and for statistical analyses validations in commercial settings too.
